If you need orthotics in Bundaberg, then Sugarland Chiropractic Centre is the place for you.
I, Dr Debbie am a Bio Mechanic Practitioner who uses ICB orthotic Therapy and cast boxes that I mail off to the ICB headquarters for special orders. ICB's unique orthotic technology assists me in realigning the foundation of the body to its correct biomechanical position to effectively treat a range of conditions caused by 'Excessive Pronation'—a condition where the feet 'collapse’ or roll inwards. As the feet pronate, compensatory misalignment of the ankles, knees, legs, hips and back can occur. As a result, chronic aches and pains can be experienced throughout the body.
When you visit my centre, I will assess your individual needs to determine the best course of chiropractic care for you. My goal is to ensure that you find relief from your pain and discomfort and that you can get back to your normal activities without any hindrance.

CB Heat Moulding dual Density Orthotics are made of 100% EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) covalently bonded, locking the two densities together to provide an integrated comfort and support system, enabling Dr Debbie to mould and custom fit ICB Orthotics to effectively treat specific conditions.
When the feet are left untreated without orthotics when a patient should have them, they find that their chiropractic adjustments will not hold as well without them.
At Sugarland Chiropractic Centre, I will create a custom orthotic that is designed to properly align your feet and provide the correct support for your individual needs. This allows me to provide improved comfort and stability and reduce the chance of injury.
Orthotics can help to provide improved comfort and stability and reduce the chance of injury by helping your feet stay in their correct biomechanical position. They can also help relieve pain caused by conditions such as plantar fasciitis or overpronation, allowing you to get back to normal activities with less discomfort.
If you are experiencing pain in your feet, ankles, knees, or hips, or have difficulty walking or standing for long periods of time, then you may benefit from wearing orthotics. A podiatrist or chiropractor can assess your individual needs to determine if orthotics is the best course of action for you.
The lifespan of your orthotics will depend on how much they are used and what activities you take part in. Generally speaking, it is recommended that you replace them every 12-18 months or if they show signs of wear and tear.
I help people with plantar fasciitis and orthotics, and I can do heat moulding in the office. I also send them to podiatrists in Sydney for further examination if required or if the client deemed necessary.
If you would like to book an appointment or find out more information about orthotics, then please contact me today. I look forward to helping you on your journey to finding relief from pain and discomfort.
